| We feel that kids – whatever their age, need a space of their own. A space to play, have fun and inspire their fantastic imaginations. We also want you – mum and dad to love the room just as much as they do. Practicality doesn’t have to mean a compromise on style and finish. Along with our classic contemporary style, we use the finest materials, quality paints, varnishes and waxes all of which are extremely hardwearing. So you can be sure that your chosen furniture will look great for years to come, and be durable. Everything from the design to the finished product is handled in house at our Herefordshire workshops, so you can be assured of quality and continuity. We are constantly searching for those little things that add the finishing touch and make what we do that little bit more special. Stuart Goddard Originally trained and qualified as a carpenter, in 1998 Stuart turned his skills to making furniture. He spent 7 years working for one of the country’s leading interior designers making furniture for adults, and brings with him a wealth of experience in completing the final look. Keri Goddard Keri could never decide on a career – with an artistic flair she knew she wanted to do something creative. She worked for an advertising agency for six years and after returning from maternity leave in Autumn 2000, she was ready for something new. When we were expecting our own little dumpling back in spring 2000, we wanted a nursery that was stylish and unique. We found it hard to find something that little bit different as we wanted to create a room that would be stimulating to the eye yet pleasant and stylish too. It also needed to be practical - as kids rooms need to be! It was then that we were inspired to design and create it ourselves. As our little dumpling has grown up her room has had to grow with her, so it has been a continuous project to make her room a haven that she adores. And of course, being parents ourselves we know what appeals to stylish kids and their parents, but it’s our little dumpling that keeps us ahead – after all, If she doesn’t like it, chances are neither will they! |
